Cindy Johnson, Owner, MSPT completed her pre-physical therapy studies at the University of Florida and received her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy at the Medical College of Georgia in 1988. She later received her master’s degree in Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology from the University of Kansas in 1996 with a research focus on the spine. In addition, she completed a 2-year certification process in manual therapy in 2008. She has a special interest in orthopedics, manual therapy, and women’s health. Cindy is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations and currently serves on several not-for-profit boards. Cindy and her husband Chris have 4 children. Her hobbies include travel, hiking, camping, and numerous kids activities.
Brianna Henggeler, DPT
Bri Henggeler, DPT, completed her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Avila University. She then obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Regis University. From a young age, Bri knew she wanted to help people. Watching her mother battle a chronic illness sparked her inspiration to help others improve their quality of life. Bri especially enjoys working with kids and post-surgical patients. Her hobbies include cookie decorating, sewing and camping.
Amy Hileman, PTA
Amy Hileman, PTA, completed her undergraduate degree at Kansas State University and her Physical Therapy Assistant degree at Penn Valley. Amy enjoys specializing in orthopedics, low back and geriatrics. She finds it extremely rewarding to be in the medical field – helping people return to their prior level of function so they can enjoy a vibrant life and do the things they love to do. Amy and her husband have three children. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and family events and activities.
Ashley Bland, PTA
Ashley Bland, PTA, completed her Physical Therapy Assistant degree at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Ashley enjoys helping patients with postural awareness, working with kids, helping patients in an aquatic therapy setting, and ankle related injuries. Ashley has completed a Kinesio taping class. Ashley wanted to become a PTA to help people get back to what they enjoy doing. Ashley’s hobbies include exercising, walking and playing with her dog, going on beach vacations and watching the show Fixer Upper.
Michael Van Nice, PTA
Michael Van Nice, PTA, completed his Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Washburn University. He became interested in physical therapy after sustaining a knee injury while competing in a Martial Arts competition. This led him to find his love for physical therapy. Michael is interested in studying many different treatment options and wants to specialize in more than one area. He likes that physical therapy takes a hands-on approach, and patients can be proactive in their recovery. Michael and his wife enjoy walking their dogs, biking, and going on hikes.
Catherine Klaske, PTA
Catherine Klaske, PTA, completed her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Washburn University. She has a special interest in pediatrics and neurological injuries. In the future she also plans to specialize in hand therapy and dry needling. Being able to help people decrease pain, increase functional capacity or help someone learn to walk again makes being a PTA the most rewarding job to her. Outside of work she enjoys water sports, especially kayaking.
Lindsay Brady, PTA
Lindsay Brady, PTA, completed her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph. She has a special interest in pediatrics and likes to help patients feel cared for as unique individuals. Lindsay and her husband have three children and enjoys reading, playing with her kids and watching movies.
